Wine Auction Advice

Grab some bargains at Auction and drink better

Tired of Supermarket 'Grape Juice' and looking for something a bit more mature?

Good wine needs time to develop, but this just doesn't fit in with the way Supermarkets operate. Almost all the wine that you buy at auction will be ready to drink; wines at that stage can be hard to find elsewhere, even from traditional wine merchants.

Looking for ways of cutting your household costs?

Auctions can take the pressure off the wine bill. You may have heard from friends about the marvellous bargains that you can get by buying wine at auction; you can get them too! Some wines go for high prices, but there is a lot that collectors and the trade aren't interested in.

Want more fun and variety in your drinking?

Supermarkets and high street chains offer a limited range, especially if you enjoy claret (Red Bordeaux). Traditional merchants usually expect you to buy by the case.

At auction there are plenty of mixed lots for you to choose from. Or you can share the pleasure with your friends and buy whole cases to divide between you.
